Today I purchased a used vehicle from a private seller I found on cars.com. The mileage on the odometer read 68,000 miles. After buying I was cleaning out the car and found an old sticker stating that the oil is due to be changed at 199,000 miles. I then decided to pay for a car fax report (which I obviously should have done first) and sure enough the odometer has obviously been changed. The seller will not return my calls. Obviously I made some mistakes in how I went about buying this car that I will learn from, but as an honest person I am naive to people trying to get over on me sometimes. Is there anything I can do?
