Recently EDM/Future Bass artist Porter Robinson had his personal server hacked, and unreleased music was leaked to the public. In one of the first releases, the leakers stated:
"You porter mods are some real sad people btw."
The moderators received the leaks initially in a closed group and kept them a secret (while asking for more leaks) from the community. Someone in the closed group eventually leaked the leaks on a different subreddit (will not link as it includes download links to it). The mods began to delete any mention of them from /r/PorterRobinson, condemning leaks. It wasn't until later that the community found out that the mods were part of the closed group that had initial access.
A mod released an official statement in which he admitted to early access to the leaks. The thread is a major source of drama, as the moderator publicly attacks another member of the community and accuses them of performing the leak in the statement.
The moderator who released the official statement has now been removed. In the official topic about the moderator's removal, the community is asked to "chill out and put this behind us." The comments are full of drama here, as well, with community members calling for mod removals (including the removal of the announcement poster, who is allegedly involved as well).
Good stuff from such a small sub.
