Yes, we do need to stoop to their level, at least until the left is forced to clean up their act. For decades the Republicans took the high road while the Democrats used every dirty trick in the book. And those tricks often worked. The double standard needs to end. Part of the reason for the huge support for Trump from his supporters and the outcry from the left is because he refuses to succumb to the double standard and fall into the trap every other Republican was willing to fall in. He will fight back, use fire against fire. No one is going to get hurt over this, and if someone says they jumped because they were told to if they hate Trump, they were lying. The left uses their manufactured outrage to manipulate people. It will only stop when it doesn't work anymore. So let them be outraged, let them be offended. As soon as they give up trying to control us with emotions we can go right back to being the fair and considerate party again.
