Be wary of time. You could get 20 minutes for 20 questions so know to allow ~1 minute for each and if you're taking to long to work one out consider moving on.

On a shadier note, if it's not going well disconnect your internet and email them saying you were disconnected and you'll most likely get a second chance.

It might have been coincidence, but when my kid was about 6 we used to play loads of Big Brain Academy on the Wii, being the archetypal competitive dad, I practised the shit out of it and got really sharp at it. I then took a cognitive assessment for a new job and absolutely nailed it, which landed me the job. It may just have been fluke, but I could even hear the Big Brain Academy music as I was taking the test.
