Got banned from r/Lebanon for pointing out that islamists are bashing human rights by wanting to cure homosexuality with electric shock therapy... Fuck u/slaydog for believing that it is against sub rules...

Actually, you got banned for telling him to shove the sub rules up his ass, which breaks rule 2. There wasn't an intent to ban you until then.

Still doesn't justify you resorting to personal attacks, which, wether you broke a rule or not in the previous comment, you did with that.

Irrespective of the previous comments, you could have stayed civil and either asked for further clarification/explanation, send a modmail, or just ignore the whole ordeal. You instead turned to insulting the mod in question.

Dude i told you youre welcome on the sub as long as you follow the rules. We share the same views on the matter but i have moderated the sub long enough to know that these discussions only go south.

Yeh. You said "kudos on making the link between islam and anti-human rights". We leave that up for a day and we will have a shit-slinging war in comments about "islam is and islam isnt" between users. I am not interpreting the sub rules, they clearly say don't bash other religions and there are other subs for that. You could have x posted the article to any relevant muslim bashing sub and had your discussion there. Simply, the sub is to discuss lebanon not islam or another religion.

You also said you wanted to leave , and i told you youre welcome to stay as long as you follow rules, then you told me to shove them. Aside from the maturity of that comment, if you're blatantly telling me you wont follow the sub rules, why wouldn't i take action?

I made a point how the islamists themselves linked islam to anti-human rights... I never said that was my opinion... Truth of the matter is that it bothered you that words islam and anti-human were in the exact same phrase.. I didn't bash anything but you took it personally and made it personal.. And if you're so fucking right, why did you delete your own comments? I told you I won't follow your PERSONAL INTERPRETATION of the fucking sub rules... I still insist that my original comment didn't break any rules, just your feelings....

We pretty much share the same opinion, we just cant have it on the lebanon sub. It didnt bother me but it would bother users of the sub that's why we had to warn you. What do you not get?

Im not a spineless mod you piece of shit. I canned your ass and I would do it again in a heartbeat if you break the rules again once your ban is over. My job as a mod is to preserve harmony on my sub. Allowing people to throw inflammatory comments and being afraid of childish backlash like yours in spinelessness. I do what is best for my sub, regardless of the personal beliefs i hold. You fail to see that we hold the same belief on the issue but I have to enforce the rules because there are others who don't. If this were to be discussed, there are other subs for that.

Frankly we dont give a shit who's for or against. Its just our sub is polarized along religious lines and there are plenty of other subs for people to discuss. OP cant get past that. We warned him not to use the sub to bash other religions (clearly in the rules), he told me to shove the rules up my ass.
