Modern relationships are just using flowery language to describe whores. Women have made themselves Concubines: even going on to promote the behavior via Feminism.

While various forms of long-term sexual relationships and co-habitation short of marriage have become increasingly common in the Western world, these are generally not described as concubinage. The terms concubinage and concubine are used today primarily when referring to non-marital partnerships of earlier eras. In modern usage, a non-marital domestic relationship is commonly referred to as co-habitation (or similar terms), and the woman in such a relationship is generally referred to as a girlfriend, lover or (life) partner.
How about we call them concubines and stand on the label. Women want to be free from slut shaming today, slowly destroying society with their whoredoms. We should push in the other direction. Describe them accurately, concubines: I.e., they are not wife material anyways. Mere concubines.
Women use sex for resources? Fine: you're a concubine. Hypergamy? Concubines are doing it for survival, protection. Call it like it is. No more cutesy language, it excuses their behavior. She wasn't a girlfriend, she was your concubine. Don't give her more prestige than that, she was using you for resources, and she was for sex. Simple.
Concubines are NOT wife material. Seen in those CDC statistics; they are incapable of pair bonding (let alone even the most basic womanly duties of running the house.)
