Do cats offer unconditional love like dogs? (self.MGTOW)

I already know dogs are capable of offering unconditional love that women can't offer. They'll even risk their lives for you. I also know cats are alot more independent and low-maintenance, which is why I'm considering adopting a cat

Do cats offer just as much unconditional love as dogs? For those who own a cat, would you say they've brought more happiness to your life? If a MGTOW doesn't have many male friends, are cats a good substitute?

I also struggle at times with depression and finding meaning in life. I heard taking care of a pet provides more motivation and gives you a greater purpose in life. Would you say that's true for owning a cat?

A pets love is very much conditional, but the conditions are reliably predictable and are reasonably simple to meet.

Cats show affection to their owners differently which gets interpreted as "dogs love humans more". Really, there is no quantitative measure

There, an unemotional approach to unconditional love. So you prefer how cats display affection, then get a cat.

Male black cats are the way to go. I'll always have one. They're smart and chill and the four I've had have all been very loving.
