Where will I get genuine affection?
It's vital and the absence of it can lead to a vicious cycle of low self-esteem/confidence as I'd say the two are interconnected. And don't tell me to get a cat, I know since this is reddit a lot of you probably have cats.

If you want unconditional affection get a dog, cats only love you if you have resources just like women.

That's in the same category as cats. So are you saying the solution is to become like a crazy old cat lady?

As more and more men are denied natural affection, their very humanity is also denied and society will become more and more violent. Studies have shown the importance of affection for mental development and even young children (orphans were one source of the studies) will die when unable to receive it.

I'd say that a large part of this problem is actually the societal 'pedophilia' scare of not letting men around younger children, who eagerly display such naturally affectionate behavior because they know it is a necessary part of life... and so the hearts of innocents are murdered.

Lol. I volunteer at homeless shelters, animal hospitals, animal shelters, old folks homes, volunteer at hospitals.

I also hug a shit load of puppies everyday.. i don't care for kitties. But I'll still hug them.

My family also owns a Korean BBQ restaurant.. so yeahhh. Lol

But in all honesty.. get a dog if you want love.

I had a Romanian neighbor once. Although squat and ugly he wasn't adverse to invading my personal space and patting my arm while complimenting me on various things. Felt pretty nice. Other neighbors (Midwest US) weren't so appreciative of his friendly demeanor. America is an anti-social hellhole for the most part and it only gets worse as people age and develop even deeper emotional armoring (Wilhelm Reich term); I'll likely have to leave to find a more natural existence.

This question is the elephant in the room for MGTOW. Most would answer, "if you are strong, you can be an island." That's not adequate. We need to talk about this issue more.
