Who plays during these pre season tours? (self.reddevils)

Will the first names on the team sheaf play? Or will the players lower on the pecking order play, or a mix?

It will probably be a pretty decent squad this year because it's the summer (every other year) without a major international tournament. Should see a far better squad than last year's preseason, with pretty much everybody in attendance. In terms of playing minutes, I'm sure everyone will get some with a few youth players coming along for the first team experience. Hopefully some of them get some decent minutes too. I'm sure we'll see lots of subs being used with very few starters finishing the games, particularly in the first few games.

So basically everybody should be there, but lots of squad rotation.

Exactly this - Jose will be looking to bring everyone up to some degree of match fitness, so expect to see the full breadth of the squad.

They're friendlies, so they can substitute as much as they want. One game we watched, they subbed the whole team at halftime! It was a good mix.

Will be quite mix of everyone at the start, usually see the games towards end of pre season mainly being about the first time and main 11 and such.

It's not uncommon to see the whole squad play half a game as there are unlimited subs. Keepers will both be used, youth will be used but also new signing, and established players.
