Interestingly and maybe it is a reflection on the quality of our squad, many of the players on international duty are not automatic starters for their national team.
Players from our Starting 11
Valencia: I guess the biggest concern will be Valencia cause he has to travel really far and he has 2 qualifiers (Thursday & Tuesday) to play in but he is a robot so maybe his batteries will be recharged no matter what.
Mkhitaryan: Mkhitaryan has one match to play on Sunday.
De Gea and Herrera: Qualifier on Friday and Friendly on Tuesday. De Gea should start the Qualifier, may also play in the friendly as it is against France. Herrera would probably clock minutes as a substitute at best.
It works out really well for United in the sense that of our key players, only Valencia has a really tough international schedule. The other key players will not clock too many minutes. Other squad players may not play too many minutes as well (maybe except for Romero and Rojo).
Plus Zlatan, Martial, Mata and Carrick get a break too. Hopefully this provides the break that many of our players need and set us up well for the final couple of months of the season.
