Manchester United announce plans for preseason tour of United States
Manchester United will travel to the United States for a preseason tour this summer, in which they will play five matches in five different cities.
Jose Mourinho's side will travel to the U.S. for matches at locations including Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Santa Clara and Washington DC in the build-up to the 2017-18 Premier League season.
United did not confirm details of dates, opposition or venues in a statement on their official website, although they are expected to play some fixtures as part of the preseason International Champions Cup (ICC) tournament.

"Visiting North America will give the team the best possible preparation for the new season, using top-class training facilities and playing in some great stadiums," Ed Woodward, United's executive vice-chairman, told the club's official website.
"We have witnessed first-hand the passion and support for the club in the US in recent years, so naturally it is something that everybody is very much looking forward to this summer."
Last summer United were scheduled to play local rivals Manchester City in the ICC, but their match in Beijing was cancelled due to torrential rain in the Chinese capital.
