Did you know that in some cases a when family with a working man and woman is split, the woman gets a portion of the man's retirement? Neither did I, until it happened to my father. Don't get me wrong, I love my mom, but its just unsettling. My dad worked 25 years for the DEP (Department of Environmental Protection), and was married to my mother for 19.5 of them. My mom ran a successful home daycare, and had her own retirement fund. When my father retired 9 months ago, my mom got $30,000 out of his $120,000. He still had much more, but my mother had her own separate fund. I couldn't help but see this wrong. Quarter of a century at a state job and less than $100,000 retirement bonus, due to past marriages? This is my first MGTOW post, and probably my first Reddit post. Let me know what you think.
