But they still rushed it to release due to hype they weren't expecting. They weren't expecting the insane amount of hype to be built, so they had taken their time, for a while until people started getting mad at them for delaying it, so they rushed it out and it came out shitty.

Yeah. I think if it were up to Hello Games, or whatever company it was, the game would probably just be coming out now, and it'd be way better. They've already updated the game A TON and added huge amounts of game changing content, and even did a graphical overhaul.

Yeah I'm certainly waiting until reviews of the entire game are in. If the story/characters and choices are as good as dragon age and past mass effects I certainly look past stuff like bad animations. I just hope the story doesn't end up like Fallout 4 where it felt like nothing you said/did had any impact. That's what would keep me from buying it but no one here knows if that's the case yet.

I think that's why there should be emphasis on eventually. If the game needed to be delayed 3 more times to be good then releasing it before that would mean that it was "rushed" and is then bad.

Before I start, I like the game a lot.

It's out for Origin Access and EA Access. I've played my ten hours from Origin. I don't think the game as a whole is bad. However the complaints about the animations are justified. They are terrible. I'm able to look past them and enjoy the game though.

Thats very true, the game itself seems fine, the story telling that you expect from the previous games seems to be lacking in this one though. Plus the voice acting for some of the alien races is straight up irritating, especially the krogan on nexus

Animations are really important in a game designed around talking face to face with people for most of the game. It's an ever-present issue. Also, the meaning of the quote is to delay the game until it's finished. If you delay the game, then release it even if it's not finished, it's still going to be bad.

Although actually having interacting systems is kinda nice. Fire, water, magnetism, etc... Pretty cool to get all that stuff working together in an open world where everything is traditionally scripted.
