I think not keeping him would be foolish. He's been like, what, six years in the PL? And still no one can figure out how to deal with him. Keep him, use him in tough games or when you want to shut up shop.

We need him for games like this, against weaker teams. I hated him but now I realize we need him sometimes

He hasn't really changed from LVGs time still as good as he was then.

I think he's a good squad player who has turned up when called upon. He's also made mistakes when called upon but that's why he is (and should be) a squad player.

His fighting spirit is also second to none. I don't think anyone has faced more scrutiny on the team over the past 3.5 seasons and yet he's still here, fighting for a place every day. At the very least he's a good example for the Luke shaws, martials, and fosu mensah's in the team.

No because when played right he was really good under LVG. I don't think anyone hates Fellaini, I think they hate how we play when we do play him because it's usually long balls up top. He's a good squad player but I can't see him staying past the summer because he'll want game time I think, which will be a shame because he's always gave 100 percent in a United shirt which is more than can be said about some players.

If we're coming in four competitions there'll be plenty of game time unless we add multiple midfielders. I can still see him getting 35-40 appearances with 15-20 starts.

He's been performing fairly well, he's scored a couple goals and it seems to have given him his confidence back after the fans slated and booed him earlier in the season. He's good at what he's there for, winning balls and scoring headers. He's not going to kick Herrera/Pogba out the first team but when he's needed, he comes in and does a job. He's stopped flinging his elbows around and giving away fouls recently too. I know he's a bit of a meme but he always comes in when he's needed and adds a certain quality to our midfield that no other player does.

It's been a rollercoaster. He started the season really well, and then he started declining and hitting the low point with that penalty at Everton. Since then, he has improved, but I as a fan don't know what to think of him.

As long as he doesn't do stupid things and plays his heart out like today, i'm okay with him. But he frustrated me(us) so many times in the past that i don't have a clear opinion of him.

always rated him, starting with his time at Everton. his role at United is less obvious since we're supposed to be an attacking side; but in those instances where we need a disruptor and tbh a bully, he can fill that role. his muscle begs to put him at cdm but his passing skills make him a liability back there, so for United he's got to be that brutish impact player.

Barre the incident at Everton - he's been a really consistent performer this season. Seeing him in the team doesn't fill me with dread like it did under Moyes and to a lesser-extent, van Gaal.

He has a big role in this team. So as long as he is happy with a squad role he should stay, his loyalty to the manager could also be a big factor in the dressing room should we encounter rough times.

If a player is happy to take on a squad role and help fight for the team, we need to appreciate and respect that. Then again if he wants regular first team action then he should go by all means. Same applies to Young, Rooney, Kingard.

He's definitely someone who shouldn't be starting week in week out. Against teams like Boro we can away with it, but with that being said he has a role to play in our squad. Coming off the bench with 20 mins left chasing a winning goal he's a great target man to play long balls into the box or put in a cross to. Defending a lead is also another good time to bring him on when opposing teams are chasing a goal, get him on for his height for set pieces etc. I think the reason why managers always seem to like him is his willingness to work and do exactly what he's told. He's not our best midfield option but he's a good Plan B.

Nothing has changed my opinion of him, when used correctly he's a great player to have, but we should probably have a better player than him as a starter 9/10 times.

I've always thought hes a decent squad player with a very specific skillset.

Hes pretty wank in the centre, even worse in a deeper role. But as a battering ram to cause havoc in the opposition box hes useful.
