Now, I know that a crap ton of other top European clubs have a similar enough fixture list as we do at the moment, but I just thought it interesting that Southampton haven't played in 15 games today, and also hadn't played in 15 days when they played against us in the League Cup final.
As a complete aside, today's lineup, performance and "game management" are exactly what I was talking about when I talked recently about looking forward to the fixture list if Mourinho fully utilises the squad, and selection rotation.
