We also need to realize he's just 19, he has a lot left to imrpove his game. That being said he should be doing better. Still have faith in him but we really need our players to start finishing their chances

I think he's trying to be a winger with zlatan by his side while being a striker. He's always looking for the pass instead of always looking to shoot. Mata screaming for every ball isn't doing him any favors. One of the reasons he did so well his first season was that ppl looked at him for goals, now he's just trying to just get in assist. He'll be ok but he needs to fix it as he grows

Rashford just needs to improve his finishing. His play in every aspect; pace, dribbling, energy, creativity, and strength is quality but he needs to improve his shooting. His shots are all right at Valdez. He sums up our season performance actually lol brilliant but can't finish

Rashford needs more awareness, like goalkeeper position, where teammates are. Rarely ever looks up.

I agree he needs to be more decisive on the ball but his positioning and spaces he finds himself in is very promising.

I'd argue he's always looking for his teammates. He's had several time so far when he looked to pass instead of shoot in the final third, he's passing/final ball has just been poor

True, but there were several critical moments where had he threw a quick glance of the situation, he could have scored or let fly a killer pass. I gotta admit this is asking too much from a 19 year old though. Definitely liking what I see as well.

Yeah, I agree. He definitely needs to be able to pull the trigger quicker on passing and shooting. I think we all got caught up a bit last year in how fantastic Rashford was and forgot how young he is

As much as it pains me to say this, I think we could benefit from a change in tactic that attacks Fabio. I wish Bailly was better with anticipation and concentration to stay in the game defensively today, because I think Valencia has been cautious to go forward because of it.

Disclaimer: I missed the first 10 minutes.

I think Boro have looked dangerous at times, but seem to have no end product at the moment. From the 10th/12th minute until the 30th they looked like the didn't really know what to do with the ball in the final third. However they obviously created chances and if we don't tighten up on our 1-on-1 defending out *wide, they are going to keep putting balls into our box and all it takes is one chance.

For united, we are getting the ball into dangerous positions, we just can't create chances today. Rashford, Valencia, and Lingard have all had chances for easy-ish assists but their final ball let them down. Lingard looks off today for me. I'm normally a fan but he's rarely making runs and I'd rather Martial continue to get game time over Lingard's performance today.

Rashy's been too unselfish if you know what I mean. The best thing about him last season was his killer shooting instincts. No looking anywhere else but the goal. We need that Rashy back. Nonetheless, he's been great so far, par the fair few misses.

It's going to go largely unnoticed probably because of just how the game has gone so far, but bailly is having a pretty bad day out there. He is getting turned at every opportunity. Too many crosses and headers are coming across where he should've been able to block them or turn the player away from the middle.

I get the impression that either Mou is trying to prepare us for the Chelsea match or attempting to replicate their success in the run-in.

Either that or he's playing to the fact we need loads of chances to score. So, create even more chances. Which I think is the only solution; it's quite clear were not going to magic up a couple sharpshooters at this point.

EDIT: All this criticism for Rashford but consider, he's only been striker, what, 5 games this season? He's not gonna be on point just like that. Just look at Ibra early in the season.
