As though it's natural and normal that males have privileges that females do not, and women are comfortable not having those privileges during girlhood. We totally haven't been fighting to be treated as equal to men since the dawn of time.

What I feel disgusted by is the idea that this man feels that women's equality to men would feel like a "misplaced privilege," as though we don't deserve full humanity. Imagine if this were a trans racial thing, where he was saying that a white person who was raised white felt like their white privilege was misplaced and they actually should've been treated like a second-class citizen.

Yeah, it would have been so awful to get to play sports and join scouts, to have my parents spend money on me doing hobbies, to have my dad spend time with me coaching my softball team, to have any of my parents coming to see me achieve things like it mattered.

I'd have been like "you should be ignoring that I exist like you would if I was born with a vagina :(:("
