10,000 years gulag

It's not genocide if they deserve it.

It's not genocide if they serve their sentence and 95% survive. It's just a human rights violation.

You are just a denier, just as bad as holocaust deniers.

According to a 1993 study of archival Soviet data, a total of 1,053,829 people died in the Gulag from 1934–53 (there is no archival data for the period 1919–1934). However, taking into account the likelihood of unreliable record keeping, and the fact that it was common practice to release prisoners who were either suffering from incurable diseases or near death, non-state estimates of the actual Gulag death toll are usually higher. Some independent estimates are as low as 1.6 million deaths during the whole period from 1929 to 1953, while other estimates go beyond 10 million.

Even at the high end, that's less than just the Holocaust, and over decades, and most estimates are much, much lower. Certainly atrocious and indefensible, but not even close to Nazi levels of evil.

You don't take in to account starvation in USSR, USSR satellite states, China, and North Korea. You don't take account of the millions that died in the revolutions and the clean up that came fourth. 100's of millions of people have died as a direct result from communism and its related ideas. Communism has killed more than Nazism (which is ironic because Nazi is short for National Socialism). Though, the Nazi's hated communism............

The killed millions, so many we don't even know, but it ain't as bad as the Nazis because they might have killed less?

Never even mind Holodomor.

Certainly atrocious and indefensible

He says using the same denier arguments of "it wasnt even that bad"

Cyka Blyat too thanks

Literally translates as "wet" and nothing more. Although, i don't know if we have a word for dank. Maybe

Влажный means "(he is/object with male pronouns is) damp/moist". Wet would be мокрый. Dank wouldn't have a perfect translation... Пиздата/пиздатый/пиздатая would work. Some variation of кайф would work, too, given the fact that both terms originate from drug slang, specifically weed and hash.

The Holodomor (Ukrainian: Голодомо́р)[a] was a man-made famine in Soviet Ukraine in 1932 and 1933 that killed an officially estimated 7 million to 10 million[11] innocent lives (other estimates range as low as 2.5 million)

Your link states that approx. 120,000 lives were moved to ukraine in the holomodor period.

You should use the same logic by which you condemn stalin's actions to analyse capitalism.

Ah yes, I remember when the leader of capitalism intentionally decided to starve people to kill off an ethnicity he didn't like

Except now you're implying stalin was the leader of communism which doesn't even make sense?

[–]Avalire [

The chief leader of the most prolific and powerful communist state could never be viewed as a leader of communism, it's suuuch a stretch.

From wikipedia, emphasis my own: "communist society, which is a socioeconomic order structured upon the common ownership of the means of production and the absence of social classes, money, and the state."

Praise Britannia

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Famine_(Ireland)

Tl;Dr - Ireland provided large amounts of food products to Britain and depended on growing potatoes for a bulk of the food that sustained its own population. After disaster resulted in abysmal potato yields Britain failed to provide adequate relief for the Irish who were supplying and had supplied foods to the empire.

Also

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_famine_of_1896–97

Even so, the mortality resulting from the famine was great; it is thought that in the British territory alone, between 750,000 and 1 million people died of starvation.[2] Although the famine relief was reasonably effective in the United Provinces, it failed in the Central Provinces, especially among tribal groups, who were reluctant to perform labour in public works to earn food rations, and who, according to Famine Code guidelines, did not qualify for "charitable relief."[2]

Also, communism sucks kids. Don't defend Stalin and Lenin, they're huge dickheads.

Im pretty equal opportunity when it comes to condemning mass murdering psychopaths. Evidently you are not. That's one of the problems with communists. You have next to no successes to point to so you always end up defending failures and mass murderers because they are all you have left.

Im pretty equal opportunity when it comes to condemning mass murdering psychopaths

Except you don't, do you? That's exactly my point - that it's 100% okay by me if you call stalin a mass murdering psychopath but then you kind of need to apply that label to a whole slew of people in your own ideological past

Calling Nazis evil is a pretty normie thing to do. Russians were equally evil. Shit, eugenics was semi-popular in the U.S. around the same time.

calling soviet russia evil is already incredibly normie lol. I remember being in like 7th grade and the teacher asked us to write words on the board everyone associates with evil and communism was written immediately.

No. No they weren't. It's not even close and that fact that ignorant twats think it is showcases the failure of history classes. The soviets weren't good. Many in leadership were even bad. Nazis were straight evil.

Also, there are memes in this format for Nazis. There's one for any economic system/political party/state, but communist ones are the funniest.

When you try really hard to kill an idea so you start twisting it into something it never was in the first place, so much that if anyone is paying an ounce of attention it becomes immediately apparent to them that you're lying through your teeth and when that happens they begin to doubt everything you have tried to force them into and when they have seized your toothbrushes, you don't even have the self-awareness to realize there is no such thing as bad publicity
