Computer with Clinton email probe files, Trump Tower floor plans stolen from Secret Service: report

Police sources told the publication that authorities have been searching for the computer since it was discovered missing on Thursday morning.

According to the report, some materials that were stolen along with the laptop were recovered by law enforcement. These included a bag with a Secret Service insignia and some coins.

The authorities, however, were unable to retrieve the computer or the agent's access keycard, which was also stolen during the incident.

"The Secret Service is very heavily involved and, citing national security, there's very little we have on our side," a police source told the Daily News. "It's a very big deal.”

"There's data on there that's highly sensitive. ... They're scrambling like mad,” the source added.
According to the report, the thief stepped out of a car and proceeded to steal the laptop from a parked Secret Service vehicle.
 
He then walked away from the scene with a backpack, according to a surveillance video.
