Can we talk about Pogba? (self.reddevils)

I feel the topic of Pogba is something people feel quite awkward talking about, mainly because he has had an underwhelming start to his United renaissance, and I feel people are particularly desperate for him to come good, more so than previous signings due to the fee/ex-United/just the fact it's Paul Pogba. That's fair enough. But am I the only person who thinks he has been incredibly average and, at times, farcically poor? I think it's safe to say he has consistently performed below the average level of the team. Just wanted to gauge your reaction on this as well as your general thoughts on the whole Pogba sitch

There's a lot of people who are desperate for him to fail. He's under the spotlight more than any player in the world.

I think he's had a great season so far. It's tailed off slightly in the past two to three games (and that's as far back as the memory of people online seems to go). But I'd put that down to fatigue more than anything.

He's been the heart of our creative force in midfield and a huge reason why we've looked so good this year. If you want to know how good he's been, think back to this time last year, when we didn't have him propping up our midfield.

His distribution is unparalleled in the league.

He's created a ridiculous amount of chances the guy should have 20 assists at least with the chances his made.

His finishing is the main area that's annoyed me but he's goal scoring has never been his strong point really. Hopefully it improves in time though.

He gets frustrated easily and can try to hard at times but they'll improve with time I think people forget how old he is and his immaturity shines through at times.
