I think we have to address our over reliance on the wingers in the first place. It's just a constant cycle of passing it around the Centre, give it to Valencia, expect him to beat someone.

We've been poor. Some of our players need to understand that a 2 yard sideways pass is often the perfect tool. Pogba is looking like Fellaini in a Pogba costume tonight and if Zlatan played a simple square ball Miki would have put us 1-0 up.

unnecessarily complicating things for ourselves, simple football beats opposition of this calibre. Prime example, right before half time Pogba has a 5 yards pass to put Blind in, instead flick turns into 3 players and fails to squeeze a difficult pass to Zlatan, just do the fucking basics lads ffs !

The atmosphere at OT really needs to improve. I know it's not an exciting game, and we haven't played particularly well, but this is shite.

Other teams, no matter the fixture, always make noise instead of just sitting in absolute silence.

There's literally no home "advantage" by being so fucking quiet. The home stadium is supposed to be intimidating.

Unpopular opinion but I really don't think our football is any good. Same story all the time, 2-3 passes in the middle -> play it out wide and leave Valencia/Blind alone having to do something. I'd really like to see some fast paced passing play in the middle with the players we have.

I'm not sure if you're watching the same match as me, but there is absolutely no space throughout the middle. We have to spread the play wide to try and drag them out of position.

    Quite frustrating half. For long parts we have looked really good. Mata and Mkhi look so sharp. They're technique is beautiful to watch, I love having that quick, technical play to our game. Zlatan looks a touch off the pace, he's missed some key opportunities to pass and been a bit sloppy on the ball, though that shot was a good effort. Pogba looks a little short of confidence, trying a bit too hard and in his own head.

    All in all we are completely dominating and they have created literally nothing. They're also happy to waste time and break the game up. I'm just a bit scared because they need to score so at some point they're going to turn it on. We need to score.

    Valencia is fantastic. This is the guy I've been missing. Fast, strong and crossing with both feet.

    Matas had some bright moments but I think Mkhi has been better overall. Pogba been ok and Herrera disappointing.

    Pogba has been excellent but I bet people dig up some ridiculously specific stats to make it sound like he was shit that half. Rostov have set up for a 0-0 draw playing with 5 at the back and still parking the bus. It's fucking tedious. If we played a team with any ambition to progress, we'd be 5-0 up. Valencia MOTM so far.

    Criticism is fine. Calling him things like "useless" is both unnecessary and unfair. That effort at the end of the half shows his talent can shine through at any moment. He is our best option IMO, just gotta keep faith in him and hope he can find some confidence going forward.

Blind can't take on his man on the wing, sure he'll put in a bad cross if you give the ball to him but he is incapable of running at defenders and we don't have a midfield to play through the middle. Pogba just lumps the ball forward or spreads the play to the wings because of that. We're just putting in cross after cross when we have fucking Mkhitaryan playing as a forward. And why are we playing with 5 defenders when we haven't for the entire season? That's why I'm blaming Jose.

    Thought we've looked pretty good. Finishing a bit shite and a bit unlucky. Not too bothered overall though as I don't think we look likely to concede. Pogba, Mata and Valencia the bright spots for me so far probably.

    Mata set up almost all of our chances. Pogba has done basically nothing except make silly mistakes. I'm a huge fan of his, and hope he turns it around. but he has been very poor tonight so far.
