4' United come close! Rojo gets a powerful, free, header at goal from a corner that the Rostov goalkeeper does well to palm away, and Ibra's rebound is saved again...

10' All United early on and United are doing well to pass the ball around and create chances. We've had multiple corners but nothing has come from it yet.

15' United have been dominant in possession early on and Rostov seem fine to let us have the ball. It's already a much better match than the first leg in terms of quality of football.

20' Rostov grew into the game for a second but now it's back to all United and we're basically camped in their half trying to get penetration through the defence. Their goalkeeper has been quite good though at dealing with our crosses so far.

25' Appeals from the United players and the United crowd as the goalkeeper pushes Mkhitaryan over in the box to gather the ball. Surely a penalty there!? But no, the ref waves it away and United restart their build up.

Why do we insist on the out-swingers for corners? Generally speaking, if they don't go out of bounds from the kick, they'll be closer to the edge of the box than the goal. It will be more difficult for the keeper to grab it, but it will be much more difficult to score from it.
