Would the Power Word spells work on Potter-world folk? We'll probably never know since Milo took Enchantment as a forbidden school. But it checks the target's HP value, how does that work with something without HP?
Good question. Most likely, it would be pretty deadly to them, as they have no (as in, 0) hp, so they’d be targeted. On the other hand, you could just as easily say they have NaN hp, and the spell just throws up all kinds of errors when you try and target them with it.
Whenever there’s an interaction between the rules like this, I pore over the text description of the D&D ability verrrry closely to see what the most likely outcome would be, then think about what the DM would do. Has Milo pissed him/her off recently?
