Thoughts on AS Monaco's youngsters? (self.reddevils)

I am watching the Monaco - Man City game, and man am I jealous of the young talent Monaco have. Do you guys think Mourinho will push for some of their players like Lemar, Mbappe, and Bakayoko in the summer?

Mbappe won't leave this summer.

Fabinho is who we should be after. Has carried this midfield so many times this season, such a clever player. Him behind Pogba and Herrera would be so good. And he's 23.

If Mou isn't keen on Shaw then we might aswell be looking at Mendy too. I like Monaco a lot so I hope they don't get raided badly this summer but they have so many good players its a joke.

Mendy looks an absolute beast at LB

Fabinho and Bakayoko are such a solid midfield

Bernardo on the right is a wizard, Mbappe is ruthless already.

They're two totally different players. Pogba is offensive, Bakayoko is defensive.

The only thing they have in common is their skin color, their size, and their hair.

Or the fact that Bakayoko can push forward with the ball like a bulldog and can spread play with ease. Don't see how offensive and defensive is relevant to this. Bakayoko is doing what Pogba is doing and he's doing it better.

I just don't understand the comparison at all. They're not similar players whatsoever.

I also think it's harsh on Pogba. Put Pogba in the French league and see what he does.

A lot of praise being thrown at a player who has been playing well for less than 6 months. Bakayoko is in good form, but has a long way to go.

Don't even need to put him in the French league he's done it for us this season. Swear some people have forgotten his performances between November and January.
