Do you hate controllers being used as a staple of modern video gaming? Dislike the UI and gameplay design centered around them? Are you fed up with the controller's effect on the quality of games? Share your frustrations, news articles, and media demonstrating the awkwardness, clunkyness, and randomness of the little interface device that couldn't, the people zealously using it for everything, and those that would go to comical lengths to defend it.

Common Controller Gripes
A jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none device most suited for niche genres, that has strong-armed itself into areas it has no business being in - FPSes, TPSes, RPGs
Limited feature set compared to KBM, which leads to UI design, that utterly fails to take advantage of the keyboard
Lack of a precision pointing capability leads to sequential UI scheme being prevalent, where instead of using the mouse to click a menu item, PC users have to navigate a tangled mess of indirect access.
Velocity-based viewport control leads to significant lack of precision in aiming and pointing, forcing developers to spend unreasonable amount of time creating software compensation, that would make controllers usable in FPSes and other genres.
Apart from the lacking feature set, certain actions using the keys that are present are impossible to do in combination or at once.
Common Controller Justifications
I like the controller better than KBM
Subjective opinions are not an argument for blanket ignorance/negligence of KBM. Dismissing complaints and marginalizing opinions different from one's subjective preference is the definition of bigotry.
Controller was designed for gaming Surely a device "designed for gaming" will be useable with all kinds of games, including RTSes. And surely such device would not need be compensated on a software level in various genres.
Kerbal tunnel syndrome Work-related injuries and anecdotal cases are hardly an argument for blanket ignorance of KBM.
Controller is better than KBM for fighting and racing games Compared to nearly every other genre, fighting games they are not exactly a robust one. The controller may be better for those games than KBM, but you can still play those games with KBM fairly reasonably. Same cannot be said for controller and RTSes. As for the racing games, there is the wheel, but again, despite the keyboard/mouse not having the option of analogue steering (which you reasonably can have with mouse) or analogue throttle (which some games do not actually support for controllers), you can still reasonably play those games on KBM. Outside of that, forcing controller as the primary interface device for other genres is not justified by existence of racing and fighting games.
Everyone likes different things, leave people alone People liking things is their business alone. That is not a reason for people who do not like those same things to be quiet and not complain about issues they are experiencing, just because some people are insecure with their opinions.
It's developer's fault for not creating a proper UI for PC It is asinine to expect developers to effectively double the budget in order to separate PC and console version of the game and even then, some design paths are still discarded, because they are infeasible to adapt to the controllers, thus they do not make it into the game at all. Also, some might blame people for being content with a sub-par experience, the absence of which just might increase the enjoyment for everyone.
You must only enjoy games, you cannot dislike them, because games are fun Games are art, and as art, they are subject to criticism. This is no different to paintings, books, songs, or movies. Games do not have universal licence to not be criticized. Movies are supposed to be enjoyed, yet are criticized. So are books, songs, and paintings. The increasingly prevalent idea, that one should not hold a negative opinion about a game some other person likes, is juvenile. People, that are so insecure, that they cannot accept other's negative view of something they themselves like, should consider counselling.
