Stories like this always make me wonder about when I had a gf and we would get into an argument and I would go to a friend's house or go out to clear my head (gym, play sports, etc) that I was possibly being cheated on without having any fucking clue or being naively ignorant and arrogant about it ("how could anyone cheat on me"- mentality).

However, come to think of it, it's highly possible that I was cheated on because my exes were always very jealous of other girls I was nice to or engaged with in any manner (my last ex in particular). You know how they say that the guilty project their crimes on their victims...it always seemed suspicious but I brushed it off due to my ignorance.

Regardless of the possibility or actually of it, the truth remains that these stories are all too prevalent and not being aware of the reality of things can have disastrous outcomes.

Stay educated, stay aware.

I've had the exact same experience/thoughts, especially about my recent ex.

What's also amazing is the double-standard of jealousy... the "do as I say, not as I do" mentality where they feel justified in getting bent out of shape at you doing zero wrong, but when you hold them to the same standard or call them out on even worse actions, they flip out.

simple fix.

ask them if theyre married instead of relying if they are honest.

and if they say no, dont believe them and ask them to proove it, if they walk away, go to a brothel if your that thirsty.

It didn't cross my mind that I had to ask her this.

I'm not gonna go to a brothel, if anything, she was thirsty being the primary aggressor in this case.
