I'd love to know the backstory to this question, but the answer is pretty much die en masse. We are comedically outmatched. An actual civil war would be unwinnable between the lack of ability to disappear in America and the sheer firepower of the military. The only places to hide, nature, are government property so worse case scenario they can just bomb you. And they have Predator drones, tons of chemical weapons, and a fuckton of bombs. And tanks.

A revolution would be a full blown civil war, which would not only destroy the world economy but also probably lead to genocide against the left because the military has so much more weaponry, and much better tech. The reason we don't go full out against other nations is PR and cost. Neither matter when you're fighting to prevent being overthrown by your populace. America without having to worry about PR and cost is the most terrifying concept in war possible.

so you think the military would just go along with an order by a president who, until he was elected, looked like your normal every day mellow fellow?
