The harder I work the more jealous they get. I offer them plenty of chances to contribute and participate but they let them all go by. Then when I get credit for my work they try to draw attention away from it.
In the beginning I actually would sign some of their names to emails I'd written to make it look like they were helping. They didn't acknowledge or appreciate that so I stopped.
Now they've taken to trying to make me look bad and whispering behind my back. It's girls against boy at this point. But the one boy is outperforming them all.
Wouldn't it have been so much easier to cooperate? But no, that would've involved them lifting a finger.
So I'll forge ahead and continue working hard, getting less credit than I should, and absorbing their passive aggression, rudeness, jealousy, and vitriol.
It would never have gotten this way if I was working with men.
