A radical change in r/news content seems to have occurred roughly 1 week ago, before which there are much more articles about Trump and the regime in general, but even then appears sharply restricteed. As things stand, you would be hard pressed to know the White House, Donald Trump, or any of his appointees exist and are doing anything of note.
In addition:
Only three post titles mentioning Jeff Sessions - the alleged Attorney General of the United States - were permitted over the entire past month.
Only two post titles mentioning Rex Tillerson - the alleged Secretary of State of the United States - were permitted in the past month.
ZERO post titles mentioning James Mattis - the alleged Secretary of Defense of the United States - were permitted in the past month.
ZERO post titles mentioning John Kelly - the alleged Secretary of Homeland Security of the United States - were permitted in the past month.
ZERO post titles mentioning Steve Bannon - close advisor of Donald Trump and member of the National Security Council - were permitted in the past month.
ZERO post titles mentioning Mike Pence - who calls himself "Vice-President of the United States" - were permitted in the past month.
ZERO post titles mentioning Steve Mnuchin (Treasury), Ryan Zinke (Interior), Mike Young (Agriculture), Wilbur Ross (Commerce), Ed Hugler (Labor), Elain Chao (Transportation), Rick Perry (Energy), Betsy DeVos (Education), or David Shulkin (VA) were permitted in the past month.
One mention of Tom Price, HHS, announcing his appointment. One mention of Ben Carson, HUD.
In other words, the entire occupation Cabinet of the "United States government" has gotten a grand total of 7 posts in r/news over the last month.
And here's the kicker: r/news is a default subreddit. You are automatically subscribed to it when you sign up to Reddit, and it is represented as one of the highest and most authoritative subs in the entire site.
But something has gone very cock-eyed. Its moderators explicitly ban users for having an "anti-Trump agenda," and declare it as "not welcome" there. And yet there are plenty of politics-related posts they permit - just almost never any related to Trump or any of his direct appointees and associates.
