Backstory: My son(7) was playing with Legos in the family room, while I 36 year old male, did some work on my laptop on the couch.

Story: My son asked, "Daddy can you help me build this car? I can't find the last few pieces." Of course being the great father that I am, I agreed. I put my laptop down and got onto the floor to help. No longer than 30 seconds later, my dog(6 y/o 100 pound German Shepherd) decided that my laptop is now a toy. He grabbed it and when I grabbed it as well, I could tell that it was too late. My $1400 laptop was destroyed beyond repair. Being upset at what just happened, I lashed out at the dog, but my son got in the way. He was smacked(by accident of course) and he started crying. He ran upstairs to his room where I found him under his bed covers. I tried to talk to him, but he wouldn't listen. I raped him. Then I walked out and gave him his privacy, and got very upset with my dog. I have to get a replacement laptop and that's ~$1000 to spend that I currently do not have. Hopefully my son can get over being hit by his father, even though it was accidental.

TL;DR: Son got hit by accident, my laptop is destroyed.
