    It's pretty simple, if you want to support a club and be a hooligan it makes more sense to choose one where there are other people like you supporting it. Millwall has that reputation so people like that gravitate to it. It is only a minority though, most Millwall fans are fine, it's just a bigger minority than most clubs have so they have enough people to actually get the club in trouble.

        Nah it's not used DVD's it's just little plastic packs with an a4 piece of paper of the dvd cover folded over a DVD that they've just burnt onto the disc. I can't really think of another way to describe it than this but I'll look for a picture

        Edit: They look like this and the people selling them are usually Asian men with backpacks to carry them around in. I've seen people here say it about barber shops and tbh I've seen it a few times but it's more common in pubs from my experience at least.

            Yes it is a rough part of London, and their fan-base is mostly white working class men. I grew up near there and there was quite a bit of racism. I guess when you combine the roughness with already prevalent racism, it will be reflected by some of the fans in their chanting and behaviour.

            Can confirm, been there once. Was an England women's match so no dickheads around but the road up to the stadium was something, especially at night. People I spoke to were alright and logically I knew I should be fine but the place just had me looking over my shoulder a bit more than usual.

            It's really not saying much coming from me, but definitely the 2nd most uncomfortable experience I've had going to football.

            I think it also builds on itself. Once a club starts to get that stereotype, the kind of people who are ok with it (racism, violence, etc.) will gravitate toward the club while those who are put off by it will drift away over time. So it's a self-sorting process combined with an already rough area.
