Nah, not at all, if you’re attempting to do it through peaceful persuasion. But attempts to force cultural change on people using the state, ie what both sides of the culture war are trying to do, that is not acceptable.
I’d like to start an entirely new culture myself, actually, something designed from the start to be better adapted to our modern conditions than what we’ve inherited, and with explicit instructions to avoid attempting to force change on other cultures.
