On the 1st of December 2014, ShoutMeLoud had its 6th anniversary and I wanted to write my blogging journey which could help others to take up blogging as a serious career.
This is going to be lengthy and bit boring, as it’s about me and my blogging journey so far. So if you are passionate about blogging then only read it, otherwise check out the other categories of ShoutMeLoud.
This post is all about how I started my first blog and later on how I created a network of blogs, after one successful blog.
Read: After 2191 days of blogging, all I can say – Blogging is incredible (6th Anniversary post)
A Little About Me:
I have already written a lot about me on the “about” page. For new readers, I’m Harsh Agrawal, Founder of ShoutMeLoud. By education I’m a software engineer and by profession I’m a blogger. This story will tell you about important time period of my blogging journey. Getting back to my education background, I completed my engineering in I.T. stream (2008) and by the end of my final year; I was placed in one of the most reputed I.T. Companies: Accenture.
My Blogging Journey : From Start
First three months of blogging:
I started blogging just out of fun in September of 2008 and started writing about things which I knew. I started my blogging journey on the BlogSpot platform. I was more interested in network and computer security, so I started with a community on orkut call “Underground world”. The first domain name which I wanted was underground world, which was already taken. So I started with the domain name virgintech.blogspot, and at the end of three months I was getting appreciation from my readers and I thought of investing on my blog. I bought Web-hosting and a domain from DreamHost and migrated my blog to WordPress.
Selecting a domain name + Hosting
By the end of three months, I was aware of the importance of branding of a blog. Initially I was thinking of some domain name with a keyword containing ‘Tech” but choose “Shout-Me-Loud” for it’s uniqueness and for better branding. For hosting I selected Dreamhost since it was cheap and offered one free domain name along with the unlimited webhosting.
How my niche changed?
Initially I wrote about the usual tech stuff which you could probably find on other blogs. Later on, I started writing about blogging & WordPress based on my personal experience. Since all content was based on my own learning experience and experiments, soon people started liking it and that’s how ShoutMeLoud found its niche.
My First Income:
As I mentioned, I started blogging out of passion and interest. I had no idea what AdSense was or what SEO was, when I started. I was a hobby blogger and with time I learned about AdSense and other advertising programs. Though before that I learned SEO by reading lots of blogs and experimenting every day. I still remember my first $10, which I earned via helping some guy at Digital point forum with his WordPress error. That was my first online income; later on I added AdSense and in the first month I made $40 which I consider as a good start.
Hobby blogger to Professional blogging:
Back in March of 2009, I left my full time job of 6 months and I took up professional blogging as my full-time career. It was not an easy decision and convincing my family was not an easy task, but I took my chance and selected what I liked. By that time I started making decent money which could take care of my daily needs. On another note, I have done my blogging business plan and I knew how I’m going to take ShoutMeLoud to the next stage.
My accident changed my life:
On June 29th 2009 ( a week after my birthday) I met with an accident, and my leg was badly hurt. The Doctor put me on bed rest for 6 months and that’s when my life changed. Since I had nothing else to do, I dedicated myself completely to blogging. I used to spend almost 14 hours a day in front of my laptop, most of the time writing and learning new things. Those 5 months changed everything in my life and given me a new direction. I read as much as I could, and I studied about many top blogs and how they succeeded.
Partnership with another Blogger:
Around January of 2011, I partnered with a Pune-based blogger to take blogging to next level in India. Since we both have the same vision, we thought of doing this together. Later things didn’t come up as expected, and I shifted back to Delhi to start my own venture.
One thing which I learned from this experience is, one should try to avoid partnership until last. If you are undergoing a partnership, you should do the paperwork first and have a complete exit clauses.
My Venture:
My dream and vision till now is making blogging a full time business and set it as an industry in India. Like Rome was not built in a day, it will eventually take some time, but someday I will touch that dream, where I will have a big office and many bloggers will be writing on their blogs sitting in their office.
I started to taking advantage of my current domain name and named my company as ShoutDreams.
Current Blog Network:
Many people have asked me how do I manage so many blogs on our network. It’s not an easy task to maintain multiple blogs and their social media presence. You need to have a team who can treat all blogs as their own blog. Whenever I hire someone (Editor, paid author), one thing that I always make clear to them is always blog for passion and not money.
I divide work amongst all of them, and moreover we work in a model where everyone’s suggestions are welcome. Though I work on maximum of 2-3 blogs promotion at a time. This includes writing guest posts, commenting, social media presence , and so on. At this moment, I’m concentrating on ShoutMeLoud and CallingAllGeeks.
At this moment we have following blogs and portals in our network:
ShoutMeLoud, WPhostingDiscount, ShoutMeTech, WPFreeSetup. Though only first 4 are very active at this moment and from 2013, I will be focusing on other blogs and portals too.
Future Hurdles:
When anyone sets up a company, the biggest problem you face is finding the right team. Your foundation determines the future of your company and whole plan. Right now, I’m in the process of setting up plan for our business, and by April 2013, planning to go live with our office for bloggers.
Earning from Blogging:
This is the most interesting part of my blogging life. If I would have gone ahead with my 9-6 job, I would be making $10-15k per year. With blogging and other online activities, I have managed to make more than $50K a year, which is thrice the amount from my job. Moreover by the end I’m my own boss and I work within my own comfort. I’m sharing this part with you, because I want you to take blogging seriously, and you might end up making money like you’ve never thought possible.
What’s Next for ShoutMeLoud?
We will keep evolving as a blog to teach blogging, SEO and how you can make a living from home. I will keep you updated with what’s going to come here next. You can join me on Facebook & Google+.
This post was written because many people wanted to know a little background about me, and about ShoutMeLoud.
I will be writing more posts on how we work as a team, and what are the options you have to grow along with ShoutMeLoud. Meanwhile, let me know if you have any feedback for me or for ShoutMeLoud?
nice thought but I think nobody can work like you, if you reach this point then this is your hard working result, a lot of people start working but after some time he/she fail or leave their work!
Hi Harsh, your story is really full of motivation.
thanks for sharing.
very very nice and inspirational story harsh sir. great work
Hello harsh, shoutmeloud has always been the first page result that Google is showing me whenever i get stuck on any wordpress issue or any blogging needs. So first of all thanks for been the very vital part of my blogging journey and also for helping me out in setting up my blog and guiding me to install the best plugins for my blog.
Secondly, this is my first comment on shoutmeloud. I know the main ingredient of the successful blog recipes is to spice up other blogs with backlinks and self promotions. But that’s not my case as we have different niche of blogs and i just can spam other blogs. And then i came across this post. Its been wonderful to read about your journey. We do share the same name and also the same engineering background except the Accenture 15k job you had. I never landed up a job ever as i was a stutter and they think communication is the vital part of job world irrespective to of your skills(illogical i know). It’s been 6 years now, i am still searching my way through life. One best thing that happened to me in these 6 years is my extreme love affair with books specially self help books and that helped me to go through a major personal transformation. And that’s how i found my niche. An inspirational blog.
Your journey inspires me. The way you made your way out of over stuffed blog Street is commendable. I am also on the same journey as yours and hoping to make it as big as yours. As blogging is the only thing and only career i have in my life right now. And yes, I will be a father in coming August and i know this will bring a extreme positive change in my life.
Thank you harsh for indirectly introducing my to the world of blogging.
Hoping and working to take it to the another level.
P.s Looking forward to write a guest post in shoutmeloud’s inspirational/motivation/life advice category.

I’ll pass along your wisdom, “Am I the only one with problems?” to a peer who’s overwhelmed with beginning his blogging journey. ~Keri
The journey from newcomers to successful blogger isn’t always easy to track, but stories like yours are always big Inspiration.
Such an inspiring story and it encourages to beginner bloggers to become serious about blogging and earn as much as you want.
I started my blogging career at Squidoo, then moved to Blogger Blog, because the Squidoo was Sold to Hubpages.
My two blogs started to become popular on blogger blog and and after couple of months, I changed the domain to dot com, but that time, I don’t know much and I didn’t redirect them. So lose all traffic and stopped with frustration.
After the gap of one year, again I started at wordpress with Ease Bedding Niche Blog, and now after a year of starting it, last month in october, 2016, it made around $1300
Thanks for sharing such a great Story.

Do you mentor people who are struggling to earn money through affiliate marketing ?
Hey Aleander,
Thank you. I try to reply to everybody who reaches out to me through email, phone etc.. However, it is not always possible. That is why I have created forum:ask.shoutmeloud.com where readers can engage with each other and help each other to move forward. Also, I have few e-books for WordPress and Affiliate marketing where people can learn about it.
Such an inspiring story and true motivation. Loved every bit of the experience you have shared. Keep up the good work. All the best!
Hey Ankita,
Thank you for your kind words.
HI Harsh,
thanks so much for your mail and your willingness to help me go forward with blogging. As i have mentioned in my other comments as well that i would love to interview you someday on your journey in blogging.
Needed some help from you as on how to select the right template for your WordPress blog. I am very passionate about creativity like using free software to create 3D models and creating simulation games using Unity 3D. I am in the learning phase.
Would you suggest me to start blogging right away with the knowledge i have or should I wait till i create something which can be shared through blog.
I am indeed planning to purchase your ebook on Affiliate Marketing very soon once i have a blog setup.
BR,
Ronald
@Ronald
I love your enthusiasm & I suggest you to start blogging right away. With the practice only you will become better. Once you start blogging, you would realize it’s a lot easier than it looks from outside. 🙂
best of luck!
Thanks so much for your motivation.. wish you too all the very best for your future endeavors!!
You are the best HARSH AGRAWAL. I love your way, your will. I hope I can make money as you are doing 🙂
Hey Harsh,
I was just wondering is Shoutmeloud the only site you maintain apart from the affiliate sites ?
D you also use PPC when it comes to affiliate marketing or is it only SEO ?
Thanks
@Sanib
I have few more blogs: ShoutMeTech.com. WPfreesetup.com to name a few.
Yes, all traffic is organic!

Hey Akshay,
If you have a passion for writing, you are good to go. Regarding the niche, you said that you are a tech guy. So, you can share articles about technology. To know more about niche and where to start from read: https://www.shoutmeloud.com/points-to-consider-while-selecting-niche-for-your-blog.html, https://www.shoutmeloud.com/blogging-for-money-guide.html
I started my Website http://www.vdcure.com through blogger platform on January 2014. I was not a man from this platform so I was totally unaware about the tricks and SEO works. I wrote because I like to spread the goodness of nature to everyone.
Even after two and half years I have not seen any growth in the website. So I was searching why and then I discovered your post. I really liked it. I got enough clues why I am not doing well in this area.
Thanks for sharing such an wounderful article.
@Animesh

My current hosting is with GoDaddy but the blog (www.learningbaba.com) loads very slowly. Have even tried out the plugins suggested by you and other techniques. Have a awesome day !
Hey Harry,
Glad that it inspired you. You too have a good day.
I used to do work in a IT company at bangalore for some months after completion of my engineering on 2014. I left my job some months ago, as it was like hell to me. I got frustrated for some worthless IT rules and regulations. From, few months i have been searching for a group to set up a start up business. but, i got stuck in the middle as some of my co-workers could not able to give their time in it. So, my plan was not able to developed so far for lack of man power. As, I am interested on tech stuffs. I am thinking to write something, wanna make something different in the blogging world. i want to do it as fun and wanna get huge traffic. that’s all. After that some new plans will definitely be fabricated with ideal development. HARSH AGRAWAL if you are listening to me or you can able to hear among 1000 people. Then, please! let me know!
Thank you!
@Abhishek
It’s good you are listening to your heart n without waiting, get started!
Hi, Harsh,
You journey inspiring me again, because I had to left blogging when panda hit me hardly, It was a blog from Finance Niche, Traffic came down from 2000 daily visitors to 100. I didn’t try to recover from that shock, I started doing my day job better, I didn’t even renew my domain thinking that it was not my playground.
Now reading your success story again again I started a small niche blog. Its almost 3 months completed, still waiting for a better traffic. What I want to ask to you is;
What is your first six month SEO,content & social media strategy of a new blog?
Your reply will help me move forward. Thanks in advance.
Great post. I quite like doing this blogging thing on the side (though it is starting to get a bit difficult juggling a full time job and blogging) because it gives me some balance. For example, if I get sick of blogging, I can look forward to work for a change of pace and vice versa. Though not having to get up and tackle traffic would be a huge incentive.
Thanks a lot Harsh, following you I started my own blog Dzignchakra and the journey has been more than satisfying. I love to talk about arts, design and architecture and that’s what i am exactly doing. In a span of 4 months i have got so many visitors to my blog and my friends are really surprised by my writing abilities.
Although nowhere on a commercial level but i am happy sharing the knowledge with the everyone.
Hi, Harsh!
The Nice journey of your life. it’s very interesting your journey is inspiring me to look a future in blogging as m new in blogging but I have been following your blogs since1 month it’s wonderful and inspiring.
I am your big fan really your post motivates me to see future in blogging.
Thanks for sharing your life journey with us broda….
Hello Harsh,
Firstly, let me introduce myself
My name is Ventsislav, however, you can call me Venny as this is easier for the foreigners and this is what I even have planned to change my name to. [long and mysterious story behind My scenes :)]
I am coming from an average family and was born in Bulgaria (Eastern Europe).
I remember as a child I had that dream of becoming a Pilot of a fighter. Seems I had the burning desire to fly from a child. To fly is a symbol of a desire for prosperity and conquering. That’s how I looked at it.
I grew a bit more then life took most of these dreams away as I became a more grounded person. I started wishing for more realistic things within my capabilities.
I remember, I used to spend a lot of time in front of my computer playing around with different things, but again, life took all of my attention away as I became a bit more abstracted by different temptations in life, typical for a youngster.. :]
Nevertheless, I had remembered my first dream, to be able to “fly”, to have that freedom to do what I want, to get the chance to experience all of the life’s beauty, to feed my passions such as travelling, writing, socializing, meeting new people, to hear different inspirational stories and so many more… I realized the only way to achieve all this is to learn how to utilize the future and broke the things down according to the lifestyle I have wanted. That’s how the idea of becoming a free internet bird came to life. I realized I wanted to have my own online business and work whenever, from wherever I wanted just with a contemporary technological notebook gadget called “laptop”. So, I already had some clearer vision of what I wanted so it was a bit easier for me to see and seize the opportunity when it was about to come across and hit me like a drum.
For me, it turned out that this was the only way to my first stepping stones to success. Then I decided my country was not even close to providing for myself and my wishes so I can be able to achieve what I want and that’s how I got to seek my treasure abroad in England.
I spent 1 year there in a university which was a complete hardship as My family barely supported me at that time. After a lot of fluctuations in my 1st year in Coventry University in Marketing and Advertising due to psychological factors, financial struggles which turned me more into an escapist, I successfully graduated that first year.
Then other things occurred into my life and I was forced to stop my education. I don’t regret it, it was my life path. It was meant to be like that. In fact, I didn’t really wanted it so much, I was doing it for my parents, but since they weren’t able to support me throughout I decided that I can do without university and stopped completely in September in 2015 after my last attempt (a successful one though) to move from my previous university to London’s University in the same course.
Long story short, I am currently in the exact same place as you were back in march 2009, I am doing my 9-5 job until May this year, after which I am going back to my country and use the money I have saved (I am working at Pizza Dominos in London as a delivery) as a fuel to establish the foundations and start my online blogging career! Meanwhile, I do my research, I read, I improve, basically I have turned into a sponge which absorbs the knowledge that interests me the most.
I even have a domain and hosted website now and a mentor who taught me things and here is where I practice and gain some hands-on experience before I fully move online.
Much more to say… I really loved your story and I follow your blog daily and started sharing it on the social media. I will be more than happy to get in touch with you personally and get a chance to “steal” a bit from what you have up there. Pablo Picasso: “Good artists copy, great artists steal” Right!?
I would be pleased to share what I have in mind as well.
Looking forward to hearing from you
This is a post written 5 years back and still inspiring all of us :).
I have been following SML for 6 months and learned so many things about blogging. You are always a inspiration for us Harsh!!
Harsh,
First of all I want to ask you one thing from where you think buddy??? please tell me your secret because I want to know…. just kidding… ; )
Harsh, I like blogging and I have good writing skills too but more than that I like to read others blog to gain some knowledge and I really like to appreciate their work. But, your blog visit was so costly to me. Don’t ask for Why?
Because First I was impressed on your domain name then your about me section and at last but not least your blog. So I have to spend so many time to your blog and for me time is more than money from my childhood days.
You know what I was searched for anything else on google and I came here and then….. Don’t ask ?
But, really I learn from you so many things so it’s ‘bole toh time wasool’… ; )
I am management student so I like to know about advertising and marketing but for that I visited so many blogs and collect knowledge but when I came here I got the mine of social advertising and internet marketing so I stopped here.
I read this blog and I really like your timeline and no doubt your future in this is already bright so there is no need to called astrologer for that. so many things that you written relates me somewhere because I also started my journey from BlogSpot as a hobby blogger now I started new blog on wordpress and I also think to purchase domain with same thinking, “NO FOR ONLY FOR PASSION” so I written here so much sorry for that.
Your domain name is different and so unique.
keep blogging and stayed connected… ; )
Your fan blogger friend,
Akki.

Dear Harsh, your blogging journey so inspiring…
Hi Harsh,
I am new to blogging. At first i dreamed about making money from blogging. So i got a domain called tehiezcorner from godaddy and installed wordpress . I started taking care of my site by using webmasters tools to index my site. Then i had learnt what is SEO and what are the policies and strategies used for it. I also learnt many technicalities in blogging. Now after reading this article i was really admired and felt what is real blogging. Hats Off man. I had learnt many things from your site and you are my role model too. Thank you for being out a support to young passions. Keep Rocking.

I am getting good traffic on my blog but wanted to know that does Google give preference to paid hosted blog over freely hosted blog in search query ? I also want to learn SEO. I have just some basic knowledge. Can you help me guiding to proceed learning with SEO?
THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Thank you for sharing harsh.
Me too want to create a real good blog for people from Indonesia.
Your story really inspiring me 🙂
Hi Harsh,
I see a lot of tech blogs out there. Is tech blogs the only way to get traffic and customers ?
for example my blog I write custom love poems and songs for my customers and i have done quite good locally. But when it comes to going all international i feel a bit intimidated. In a nut shell i just want to know what is the scope of such blogs and how to get the right traffic
Hi Harsh! How are you? Your story is very inspiring! 🙂 It is true that in one way or another everything will come good for us huh?. Well Harsh I was also Blogger Blogging and I moved my blog to wordpress but I kept my blospot domain name and blog and I did’t thought of any 301 redirects! Shortly I saw my blogspot blog rising its rankings. But even through my other blog has unique articles mine is not rankin in Google! I asked a blogger and he said that Google might have blaklisted my site since I did’t put 301 redirect oon my other blog. So could you mind to give a little tio to et out from this blaklist? Thanks
@Abhiodh
You have unintentionally created duplicate content issue.
If it’s been long with the migration, you should consider getting rid of BlogSpot blog otherwise try setting up 301 redirection.
First of all I want to say thanks to Harsh, which is actually responsible for my success in online business. He is my inspiration along with thousands of professional established bloggers in India and worldwide.
Actually he is a blogging idol for India. There are many other successful bloggers in India but not everyone share his secrets of success like this great man. That is why Harsh is loved and followed by bloggers.
I had worked for his blog network and he supported me when my family is against my blogging career. I learned a lot and he taught me like brother.
Now I am not only an established blogger but also run some other serious online projects and I give at least 70% credit to Harsh Agrawal.
God bless him.
Hi Harsh,
Well, I haven’t completed my studies yet but I still take blogging seriously (even more than my study) and for my good, I have already convince my parents to let me blog and one more thing, you said the story was big but I felt it too short, you can make it big like John Chow and can add it to your e – book.
Thanks for the post, buddy. A lot of inspiration for everyday.
Regards,
Anurag.
Thank you so much Harsh for sharing some of the most important aspects in blogging. Your journey as a professional blogger, teacher and straight-forward gave us more inspiration to pursue our online journey.
Keep up the good work Harsh, you have a huge following here in the Philippines.
Harsh, you are an inspiration to bloggers everywhere. I am struggling to make money through the Internet, and although I earned some money every now and then, it’s not enough for my needs and my dreams in life. I was tempted to become an IM guru, to build a list and promote crappy offers to that list. But I have decided to do what I really love, and that is to build websites and blogs.
I look to you as one of my inspirations and one of the people that I would like to emulate.
Hi, I am earning just $400 per month from my 8 to 8 (12 hours, some time sunday and saturday also) job, and earning $125-150 from adsense (pagerank 2 blog) with 12 hours work per month. Now after doing 6 year job, i am very frustrated without appreciation and seriously thinking about leaving my job.
Need your suggestions before leaving my job. What to consider before leaving my Job? Please also write any article on this issue, It will be very helpful for guys like me.
Waiting for your answer?

Bt i think one day we bth will stand together and will give head to head competition to IBM,Apple and Microsoft.. 😀
As far as the name of the company is concerned i think u shld work even more laboriously coz one day that name will not be a name.. it will be a brandname !

Nice to know the history of shoutmeloud. I had seen you working hard one legged 🙂 Keep it going.
Amazing post…truly inspirational….you are really great… 🙂
Your journey from a day job engineer to a full time successful blogger is awe inspiring. The fact that you encourage talent and recommend blogging to others noteworthy and respectable though I think it has its side effects.
Over last couple of years, the number of new bloggers getting into the same niche (blog about blogging, tech related) is growing exponentially. I think the main reason is that a fairly large number of successful blogs (that make a good amount of money) release ebooks, and tips and tricks to make money and basically everyone is running after the dough rather than blogging for the pleasure of it.
What do you think is the main cause and what’s the way forward?
Hi Harsh,
This is an excellent stuff which I have come across today, and you are great inspiration for all the presently bloggers and upcoming bloggers.
Thanks for the Share
-Imran
I was really inspired by the work of Amit Agarwal the man behind one of the Best tech blog “Labnol”. But your story seems interesting and somewhat same like Amit he also left his job and concentrated on blogging.

Imitation is the first step of learning. Good that you shared your experience. Nothing like learning from others experinces. All the best.
Hi Mr. Harsh, a very nice article through which we all
gotta know about you and your life 😉 . I wish you all the very
best for your blogging life ahead 🙂 . Really I too think that
bloggers should blog for fun, passion but not for money(in he
starting). Well a same thing happened with me too in terms of
partnership. My blogging career started in July’09 with partnership
with one of my bro. Eventually it was a good start . He taught me
almost evrything about blogging which helped me a lot in gaining
knowledge on how to write and publicize your content. In the first
six months only I was given the Editor post in the blog. Things
came up more good. And I was happy with people accepting my work
and appreciating me. But since last 8 months things went bad to
worst. My partner insured me that he would too pay me up for my
work but he eventually did never. And at last i left the post and
soon the blog also closed down. Well I think a pretty same case
happened with you too(as you said about that pune based blogger) .
So would like to know that what you actually did? and what should I
do for taking up my share? I have had enormous talk with him on
calls and chat. But nothing helped me up. He says just one thing ”
Yeah Sure I would pay you up soon! ” Well I too blogged for passion
but when a person is offered money why won’t he take his share? It
would be great if you could help me in this topic.. Thnx The
website was/is http://www.techno-planet.net Owner Ashish Mundhra with his
new blog(TechPanache).
Hey Bharat
Mine case if entirely different..My partnership was beyond blogging..!!
Anyways in your scenario you should better have some kind of security like domain access should be under your name and so is hosting…
Get a deadline for the payment..If your partner is unable to make a payment in given deadline..
Ask your partner to sell the blog and pay you..Coz by the end it’s your hard work…
Best of luck for the future harsh…i wish you all the best for the future and keep rocking bro 🙂
Hi harsh
fist happy new yearwishes to you.
really accident is the turning point life.
All the best for future.
Awesome journey brother. Its hard to listen you got accident.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Its a great inspiration to us. Happy New Year
Truly inspirational dude. Keep going and best wishes!
I wish you all the good luck or the future harsh 🙂
Get your Company Registered fast enough. I know this sounds weird, but I would suggest take ShoutMeLoud itself as the company name.
All credits to you Harsh….i learned lots from you…My best wishes to your future
Congratulations on your successes so far, and all the very best for the future – your story is very inspirational, and I’m glad you shared it.
Building a team is really a hard task, i am struggling with this since last couple of months – Since I am still in a 12 hours day job (thats too full six days in a week) – Sometime I find it very hard to do all these stuff in remaining 4 hours of my day. But I know I have to do something about it very. I kept few people on paid basis, but it seems they are more busier then me…. Lets see what happens. Good thing is my affiliate marketing is doing superbly fantastic job for me from last couple of years and I am concentrating more on it.
Interesting and motivational story. All the best.
Happy New Year
Nice to know about your blogging career, my son too completed his cs in 2008 and joined Accenture, similar to you he is also passionate about blogging. His blog is nofullstop.com
Hi Harsh, I believe everything happens for a good reason.
Like your accident I also have been through similar situation two
times and both the time I learned new significant things. These
posts of yours brings us more close to you. I already have read
almost all that you have mentioned in this post in your various
online interviews. Following you since more than a year now. I
appreciate your work and also you as a person. All the best Harsh
for your future endeavours. 🙂 Regards.
A nice inspirational read my friend…
I like the way you made the utmost use of even your bad time… when you had your accident…
As I may have mentioned in my earlier comments, I have been following SML since June 2009 and what impressed me that time was the frequency and the quality of posts. Now I understand, these 14 hpd is the reason. 🙂 Some bad things happened for good.
Thanks for this post mate… I never deny from saying that you have been an inspiration and a motivation for me to start my own tech blog… when I was banned to post on SML :D… I did not know the term called duplicate content.. but then… decided some thing… June 2010.. Technolism was born… but I really whole heartedly thank you for that…
Keep posting such nice posts.. Best of Luck for your New company… Waiting for the post saying… “We are finally registered” 🙂
Cheers,
Aman
Harsh, It is great to know about the journey.
Yep you are right. The accident changed your life as you had no other choice than to be at home and that helped.
Hats of to you!
Congrats and All the for future (New company and exising blogs)
No word about shoutdomains.com? Happy New Year Harsh!!
Wow! our journey seems to be exact same except the partnership you mentioned, and thank god I am strongly against such partnership unless a proper homework done, as i have bad experience earlier in other areas of life.
I too managing many blogs without any help and that too managing my full time job 🙂 But now finding it too difficult to manage. So I’m in process of hiring some freelancers. The other task in my hand is registering my company name and most probably will register it in a month in Pune.
Well, best wishes for your journey and hope in near future we will meet somewhere with same blogging passion!
i too wish to meet an acident so that i can concentrate more on blogging… lol.. Always wish you to be on top…
That was an Inspiring one.
You should also write a post about Company registration.
Good Luck and hope you find a good name for your company.
Congras.. Harsh and all the best for future!!!
truly felt awesome after reading 🙂 congrats !
Great Going Harsh
All the best 🙂
Good to know about you and how you started your blog journey. I wish you a very happy new year and wish you that your dream will come true one day. I am completely agree that you should either avoid partnership or made a proper agreement about your roles and share as I have gone through such bad situation.
You can think of Shout Technologies, Techno Shout for your company name.

I second it that your post it not boring at all. I usually find true life articles more interesting and informative. One sees too many recycled information on the net that one from a personal experience is a joy to read no matter how long.
I love the fact that you turned a bad situation to your benefit (I mean your accident). And I think that your dream is not beyond reach. You know what you are doing and are focused which is all you need.
I must commend you for the kind of success you have achieved in just 2 years online. Some people have spent more years online but still haven’t figure much out talk more make a dime.
I did a guest post here recently and now that I know you better I am most glad I did. I like being associated with people who know what they want and go straight for it.
Wonderful journey as a blogger, Harsh. Turning into a full-time blogger is not an easy task along with convincing our parents. You did everything right and you have grown like a gem. Thanks for sharing your experience with us man.
That was a great read Harsh i was a great fan of you. You inspired me in many ways it was good to know about you and shoutmeloud n a bit depth. Wishing you and Shout me loud a big Success 🙂
Hi Harsh,
Happy New Year 🙂
All the best for your new venture. I started blogging from Aug 2010 and I am also excited by the response I am getting from Alexa, increase in unique visitor’s count and earnings. I too have a dream of starting my own venture but I know it will take few more months (or years :P).
Thanks for writing these type of inspirational articles. We can not imagine how much confidence these articles give to bloggers like me.
By the way thanks for the great article and I can proudly say that you are my inspirational guru.

As I myself am a computer Engineer I know it take real nerves to say bye bye to a company like Accenture. Its rightly said ..
“You have to risk it to have a biscuit”
Inspiration overloaded. Thanks for sharing your experience, maven 😉
At last u did….. Thanks a lot for sharing.. And yes it was not at all long .. 😉
Lately, I read an interesting article on Famousbloggers in which I remember the title is Each blogger has a story…
Behind your blogging journey and its story in this post, I find many lessons. The first income is not big as expected but we all have to wait for so long. And the second, almost high profiles do not start blogging career with instant success.
A New Year is knocking our door, I hope you will be fine on the way you have been passionate and consistent pursuit so far.
Lastly, I have 2 questions for you Harsh Agrawal. Have you had to deal with any difficult problem related to language, I mean you are not an English speaker. And the second, though it is not a kind of actual question. Will you have some advice for other beginning bloggers and I?
Hi , This is very inspiring for every blogger who are trying for there best in the blogging career like you … , and thank you sharing your journey with all …
Such an inspiring real life story. Many are following you Harsh, am too in queue 🙂
ShoutMeLoud is must read blog for new bloggers. I have spend some months in blogging now and have learn a lot. And everyday I go through blogs I get to learn something new.
Blogging as a carrier is still a doubtful question becaus blogging is not a success for everyone. You’ve worked extremely hard and you are paid for your hard work now. I guess that accident was a turning point of your life where you really took blogging very seriously.
God bless your you and your blog.
Wish you luck for your company and be it a great success 🙂 (wish the same for me 🙂 )
Thanks Harsh for sharing your blogging career……. really you are doing fantastic job…….
Wish you many more happy years of blogging Harsh 🙂
Hi Harsh,
