Everyone is obsessed with Griezmann and I'm sitting here and praying we sign Nainggolan (self.reddevils)

I know it's a shitpost but what a signing it would be. A midfield of Herrera, Pogba and Nainggolan is exacty what we need. Mobile, aggressive and creative. Does anyone else think Nainggolan would be an ideal signing ?

An amazing player, but overall that midfield has too many box-to-box metality players, deep lying players like Carrick keeps the midfield balanced.

I have a feeling that Conte is going to sign him up for chelsea! Plus he is not the player we should be looking for. Dream signing would be verratti. Imagine two of the best young midfield prospects (other one being Pogba, duh) ruling over Old Trafford. Highly unlikely thou

None of those will just sit deep and shield the back four. They all want to get forward. We need someone who will just sit in front of the back four and is decent on the ball.

Fabinho wouldn't be a bad option but I'm not going to lie when I watch Monaco I usually just pay attention to their attacking not defending (which is why I know Bakayoko is always going forward).

A midfield of Herrera Pogba and Nainggolan wouldn't be exactly what we need. An ideal signing would one of (or all I'm not fussy) Toni Kroos Thiago or Veratti.

I'd still want another defensive midfielder as well that would just sit and shield our defence. Our midfield imo is still our weakest point.

Dunno man, is Naingolan improvement on Herrera? Probably not imo. And you'd have to take into account that he'd have to adapt to the premier league, which tends to take a while for midfielders due to the rapid tempo.
