I still laugh at Mike Lee's book of 'Why Socialism is Great.'

He had a twitter video of him just scrolling through endless empty pages, and added Ted Cruz into before his debate with Bernie.

Honestly I'm suprised the Democrats aren't more successful than they are. "We will take from those who are richer than you and give you free stuff" seems actually pretty compelling from the standpoint of someone who is cynically self-interested and not rich, it's simple first-order logic. You actually have to do several steps of logic past that to think "no, I actually could be rich someday, but even if I'm not it's better for the economy for this not to happen" (logical steps all conservatives take).

I guess I wonder why the Democrats even try to hide that their message is explicitly "we will give you free shit by taking from people that have more".

I don't think there is enough Democrats in the Country to make that book worth it. Dead people don't buy books.
