Cheating wife kills her children so her husband doesn't get custody

https://www.reddit.com/r/relationship_advice/comments/59vsy8/im_30m_having_a_hard_time_coping_with_my_wife_29f/ (long read but it's worth it) Reddit user jasoninhell (https://www.reddit.com/user/jasoninhell) posted last months about how he learned a year ago that his wife was cheating on him with their neighbour but decided to stay with her for the kids. He wanted people to help him figure out how he could deal with that and what he should do. In his post he describes how he found out she was cheating, how he confronted her and his neighbour about it, and how she responded by threatening him to take his kids away from him by telling the judge he attempted suicide in highschool and made him apologize to the guy she cheated on him with. The whole post really moved me, so I read the comments. Most people told him to see a divorce attorney and that he should leave her because staying in an unhealthy relationship wouldn't help the kids. I looked through his other posts to see what happenned to him : He listenned to the comments, and around a week ago he had his first meeting with an attorney for the divorce.

He made the right decision by deciding to get out. His wife clearly abused him (treated him like shit) and didn't care to fix their relationship anyway. Staying in this kind of relationship, even for the kids, wouldn't have been right. I kept looking, and I saw this post

The wife ended up killing her own children only to hurt him. That's right. If you've read the Reddit posts, you may have thought "damn this girl is a bitch", but you probably didn't expect that. She called the police herself and told them she had just stabbed herself and her two children.
