Resubmitted to fit the mods' rules regarding the title.
The story begins rather innocently here, when user /u/FannyBandit916 expresses his concern regarding not receiving a game code despite participating in an event where one was promised.
Under a new alias, /u/FannyBandit91, he proceeds to call the moderators and community managers "evident sociopaths that need to be stopped" and "cancer in the Chivalry community." He begins replying to every comment in a bizarre ranting style and accelerates the fall of his comment karma in the process.
Things escalate when he posts an almost illegible rant. Fanny becomes defensive when users call out his poor writing mechanics, and accusations of autism fly. One user pleads Fanny to "seek help." Take a look at the other comments in that thread if you're interested.
Here comes the fun. Fanny argues with Reithur, a community manager, over getting the key but doesn't seem very willing to negotiate. Among many things, he says to the mod:
"stop pretending that you're anything but a waste of oxygen"
"Provide evidence that you sent me an invite or fuck off."
"Something like "I can't admit that I'm a manipulative, self-serving, two-faced cunt who hides behind his abuse of discretion while lying to everyone in the process" is an actual reason"
while the mod stays surprisingly calm and patient.
Fanny then breaches an NDA agreement four times by posting four exact same threads with keys to the developer's unreleased game Mirage.
His next post drips with sarcasm when karma gets to him. I love this thread in particular since Fanny replies to almost every comment with a mountain of salt. His last words are "This sub-reddit is officially Reither's safe-space."
In the midst of it all, Reither is nice enough to offer an apology, which the users regard as unnecessary.
And the cherry on top: FannyBandit91 was officially banned from the subreddit. But not without making his mark..
Now if you'll excuse me, I wanna play more of Deathmatch mode.
