In what delusion does the right wing not care what bathroom other people use, consider race and religion not to be an issue, completely accept abortion, and separate religion and politics!?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starship_Troopers You should start on Heinlein. I too, remember my early 20's, theres a reason history is littered with bodies of over-confident 20 somethings.

That's a damn movie...

[–]TheBloodening 3 ポイント4 ポイント  (1子コメント)

LOL. No. Its a book first, the movie was originally called "bug attack at outpost 9." Its has very little to do with the book and was changed to that name to be recognizable. Not too big into political science hunh?

That's a damn good book. Lets not forget Rodger Young

The issue is more about the fact the cia lost control of its tools so now anyone can become as powerful as the cia. We need more people that know how to work technology. Good thing millenials exist.

The thing that more annoys me about leaks like this is other adversary nations getting a hold of it. Originally I had no support for the internet kill switch, but now because of damn millennials I'm starting to think it's needed. We need more people who can use technology for the good of the nation, not leaking out information that if you're a good citizen who's not a bad person, you should have no problem with.

Yep. Good thing millenials are constantly working to improve modern technology, systems, and security.

Well, yeah in the defense industry there's what you call the sword and shield. The sword being offensive weaponry (ATGMs, RPGs, Armor Piercing bullets, etc...) and the shield being defensive weaponry (Body Armor, Tank Armor, Trophy System, etc...). What I've noticed is that cyber security is going down the same path with one always trying to out do the other.

That's the problem with cyber security. Every hole you patch in your armor can be easily ripped open again in no time because new hacks are always being developed. But as long as we keep improving security measures that doesn't seem like too much of a problem to me. But it's always good to be just a little skeptical. Just to make sure there isn't a ghost in the machine.

Well yeah, btw thanks for being a positive poster, I appreciate it. Even if you do disagree with me, you were respectful, notice I only said firing on violent protests not peaceful ones.

[–]NoNameZone 1 ポイント2 ポイント  (4子コメント)

Sure thing. It's not often I get to have a more civilized discussion on the Internet these days. It's so hard not to offend some people and when they do get offended they basically shut down and completely disagree with everything at that point.

[–]snake177[S] 1 ポイント2 ポイント  (3子コメント)

Exactly, BTW that name is very CIA... JK but yeah basically I've accepted that no matter what you say some people won't be happy, you just gotta stand by in what you believe in. I know that people would disagree with this dream of mine, but that's why it's a good thing we live in the United States, we have the right to respectfully disagree with one another. My problem is when there are riots, lootings, and chaos all because the person who you didn't vote for became president. Is it me or is being butt hurt an epidemic?

[–]NoNameZone 0 ポイント1 ポイント  (2子コメント)

Totally. These butt hurt people aren't doing anything than causing harm, and Closing minds. There's no point in disagreeing or agreeing if you can't confidently explain why. In my high school English class we would play this game where we'd pick a topic and everyone would go to one side of the room and everyone would debate on another. And if more than one person started talking at one time we'd have to pause the game. It was fun and made it easier to construct sound arguments and not lose your cool when someone said something you completely disagree with.

I wish there was more done like that in high schools. Unfortunately most people that age don't actually have knowledge on their political views at that time. Most just go by what their parents say verbatim, which is very unfortunate. It's OK if your parents influence you, as that's how I started out on the right side of the spectrum, but through self-education I learned things on my own that provide a basis for my views. For instance in comparison to my father while we both believe in Abortion, I believe they should be payed for by the federal government and he doesn't. But one cool thing was I did prove my rather liberal professor wrong in class and because I did, he changed the slide on his power point.

I dream of a United States that's right wing and nationalist. Where the Right Wing politicians have all the power,

a great example of everything that is wrong with the US and the CIA
