Reading thread on this sub, remembered a common trope:

Women love justifying laziness and avoiding responsibilities with that line on "not being ready" or "this stage of their life" etc. There are variations of the phrase, but gist is they don't feel like doing something, so they justify it with that excuse. They are too young; and, whatever it is you are suggesting they do, well it's unreasonable for a woman her age. She's just not ready for it at this part of her life. Because, it's something women do when they are much older or ready to settle down (lol).

Anyways. Last girlfriend (ex) didn't have a credit history. I recommended at start of dating that she get a credit card and put Netflix subscription on it; so she could build a credit history for future. Lo and behold: her parents kick her off family cell phone plan 3 years later. Suddenly she needs to setup her own cell phone account, but has no credit history. Hence, getting her own cell phone plan costs her several hundreds in a security deposit. Remind her that listening to me is usually a good idea.

Just like when I kicked her out for not doing dishes, cleaning up or basic household tasks that any decent roommate would do (and she paid zero rent.) When she came back after breaking up to talk things over, she mentions missing the bathroom, the comfortable bed, etc. Remind her, all she had to do was basic chores: like keep house clean. But she can't even... How can she even bros?

I just kind of laugh about it. Thinking back, how little she had to do to live in a great house with tons of luxuries for very little work in exchange. Or how simple it would've been to get a credit card in advance 2-3 years before her parents booted her off their cell phone plan. It's like women cannot fathom short-term responsibility for long-term gain whatsoever, even if the situation is 100:1 return on investment. They're like, so bad at planning ahead. Man, it is so sad; all I can do is laugh at how pathetic it is.

Any of you have stories about girls not "being ready" for basic responsibilities?

I think it's funny women can't heed 2-seconds of advice to save themselves trouble down the road. E.g., Don't sleep around -> oops she's on welfare. Like damn! Men can't turn away for a second without women fucking up their lives and everyone else's too. It's like our full time job as men to reign in their stupidity and clean up women's bullshit. You know the phrase men, it's that...

• I'm just not ready for -> OOPS

• At this stage in my life -> OH WAIT

• When I'm older I'll -> YEAH OK

Or some variation, and then bullshit actions that contradict everything.
