I laughed at the thought of this. Acting like they don't show up to work only one day a year.

At my place of business, I'd say more women have some time of FMLA than don't have it. They essentially treat their job as a convenience and show up when it suits them.

We just had one lady finally quit who would routinely miss 1 week a month for "medical issues". Another one just went on short term disability for "stress and anxiety."

Not to mention all of the ones who magically seem to have a medical issue on a Monday or Friday.

It's a joke.
