Find someone that earns a high income as well and get a prenup?

That's often a safer bet; indeed there are a few examples of guys who have received alimony and done very well for themselves--Kevin Federline comes to mind. But in general, I agree with you, marriage isn't what it used to be--and a lot of BPers feel the same, actually, male or female. Plenty of us here don't plan on getting married for a variety of reasons (not interested in relationships, tax penalties for marriage where we live, etc. etc. etc.).

The difference between us and MGTOWs/TRPers is that we don't blame one gender for "ruining" marriage, nor do we spend much time shitting on people who actually are married. "Different strokes for different folks" is not an aphorism red-pillers often live by.

No one gives a fuck if you get married or not. That's a life decision you get to make.

If you'd like actual legal advice on the possible consequences of said decision, I'd suggest you sit down with competent counsel. Plunk down the fee and pay for an hour of his/ her time. They'll let you know/ the issues that come with marriage/ children/ joint property, etc.

Or, trust the internet flying monkey brigade.

It seems like the higher earner is always at a risk.

So just marry someone richer than you.

If I do get married how can I prevent an awful divorce situation?

Don't be an awful person.

Seems like there will always be a tiny risk that can end up costing you a lot

You ain't ever going to get anywhere in life if you can't stand the idea of tiny risks
