I'm in college. I noticed yesterday that 60% or so of the women in my classes were absent, presumably for international women's day. Whatever, I didn't say anything and neither did any pf my professors.

So, today, I get to class and my professor starts the lecture with; "Wasn't yesterday great? I'm so glad women are able to express themselves so freely in today's society." Then he went on a rant about Trump, and ended with the notice that any woman who had skipped class yesterday was not marked as absent.

My jaw dropped. I raised my hand and asked if he was serious about that last part. He said yes, so I calmly grabbed up my stuff and just walked out.

IWD didn't bother me at all, it doesn't involve me so I keep quiet. However, I am waiting to see if I get marked absent. If I do, I am going to ask for a refund for the class.
