As Kevin Poulsen noted this morning, there doesn't appear to be an exploit on the list that matches up with the DNC hack, either.

And the list of exploits in the CIA's library aren't arranged by country of origin, nor are any labelled as being "Russian"
-
This is a conspiracy theory by definition & hacks like
@MarkDice are happy to endorse, b/c their followers don't react to, or demand, proof. -
It's interesting that Assange says he has files on 500 CIA ops, but this is what he led with. Speaks to his desire to absolve Russia.
-
What speaks further, Assange is a hacker & can comprehend why CIA adopts snippets of code instead of writing every bit from scratch.
-
That's not the narrative he presented. Instead he tweeted about "false flags," despite releasing no CIA docs to back up the claim.
-
I've always hesitant to remark on Assange's motivation, re: Russia. But for me, this seems to solidify the fears of many former supporters.
-
The files may be real, but the way he artfully frames them is intended to drive people to a conclusion he can't support with documentation.

@dellcam Where do they say the docs show they are framing foreign govs? They speak only of the capability. -
@trh_HF for one, here's a tweet in which they specifically claim CIA is facilitating false flag attacks using malware.pic.twitter.com/lUXDR81mB5 -
@dellcam It does facilitate false flag attacks though. That stands to reason. -
@trh_HF What stands is that nothing in those docs is explosive or speaks to Russian hacking in any way. They crafted that narrative. -
@trh_HF If I'd told you Monday that the CIA was scooping up malware on the black market, you would have said, "No shit" -
@dellcam They've used it in other domains. Do you seriously doubt CIA use false flag operations in their hacking work? -
@trh_HF Certainly not. I'm saying there's emphasis on "false flags" involving Russia coming from WL. It's not supported by the documents. -
@trh_HF It begs the question. They are clearly implying these docs prove false flags involving Russia. And they do not. - さらに表示

Have you asked for an interview because all I see is your opinion. There is nothing wrong with that but opinion is not fact.
@dellcam -
@dellcam felt the same way about "CIA had control of 0days and malware but lost it", didn't see that anyway but WL -
@dellcam How much evidence do we need that Wikileaks is a propaganda arm of the Russian government? -
