Becasue when you have a "waifu" you're latching on to something that isn't even real and basically setting your virginity in stone because no girls want to be with a guy who's body pillow stands on it's own.

Masturbation on the other hand, is just touching yourself to a woman/man on the internet. You aren't saying things like "Oh, this is my waifu. i will never leave her." despite the fact that you have a). probably never met this person b). probably never will meet that person and c). this person doesn't exist.

Basicaly what i'm saying is, having a waifu is weird because you're attaching yourself to something that doesn't even exist thus warding off any possible real life mates due to this attachment. With masturbation, you (usually) aren't attaching yourself to anybody.

Since when is sex porn? Porn is bad because you have to upgrade to come eventually. You won't end at the same point you begun at. Also you're literally watching other people have sex, how is that good for your brain?

Most people don't have to go further and further so if you are experiencing that then you may want to consider psychological help because it probably stems from being shamed about sex your entire life.

And rather than ask how it's good for your brain, the better question is how is it bad? People who are open about sexuality and, by extension, pornography, are often much more well adjusted. It's the stigmatization that creates problems
