Mods don't enforce the rules equally (self.nashville)

If you express opinions that are not popular on this sub, you will not receive any help from the mods. /u/tbsynaptic dug through my post history and made extremely rude attacks on my personal character - but the mods muted me for 72 hours for pointing this out. I attacked nobody, insulted nobody, and I was ignored because of the views I hold towards politics.

Well done fellas. Unsubscribing from this cancerous place.

Edit: You are all missing the point. You may find it pathetic that I'm roused by this. I find it incredibly disturbing that the mods do not care about anti Semitic jabs in this sub.

anti-semitism is unacceptable and should never be tolerated, but if you feel unwelcome here, it shouldn't be because of one asshole insulting your minorities. you've been expressing unpopular ideas for a while and that's not some anti-semites fault.

/r/Nashville isn't your internet safe space. it isn't just that you are "expressing opinions that are not popular on this sub", it's that you are expressing radical and hateful thoughts towards minorities that you aren't a part of.

you aren't being considerate of other people's lives. you generalize and make fallacies. you seem to be a mouthpiece for conservative topics, spouting the common fallical arguments that conservatives bring up (gay marriage = marrying dogs, abomination, etc).

You have freedom of speech, but not freedom from the consequences of that speech.

In a nutshell, I described why I disapprove of the ACA and support Rand Paul digging into the new bill.

Toxic user proceeds to bring up things unrelated, and bashing Trump supporters. When I point out I didn't vote for trump and simply disapprove, user insinuates my religion assuming I'm loaded.
