Pfft... While that's true and all of course... They've also done fuck all and been a self generating meme really. They're never challenging. Their only clamour to fame is that they're consistently qualifying for it in order to make up the numbers and crash out, as is tradition.

Good teams? They're out. Not so good? They're still out.

They've hit their ceiling lately for sure and just aren't contenders where even weaker teams have had more progression overall in the last number of years.

I'd hate to just make up the numbers and know we never can do anything more.

Yeah on one hand they qualified. But what's the point of a participation trophy anyway?
