Why are so many women (and beta males) in denial about men and women being "just friends"?

Many believe that it's possible to have a platonic relationship and nothing more. I disagree for the majority of cases.

I see it like this:

-the guys say they just want to be friends to keep close to the women, waiting for their chance to swoop in when vulnerable

-the women are in constant denial, thinking it's a possibility to have male friends

-only people who are single say it's a possibility, whereas, people in relationships know that's a piece of crap no one really believes

Thoughts?

To women, men are servants that fall into two categories: fuckable and not fuckable. If she gets no attention from men at all, she gets super upset. See SJWs and old hags.

Have cousin spends all his time with his best friend who is a very pretty female. Several 100 pictures of them on Facebook doing stuff like a couple. One could easily think them a couple if she didn't always make it very clear he is not her boyfriend. This guy is always depressed and in so much pain. She doesn't give a shit about his emotions or well being. Any other age in history and she would want him because he is 6ft 2 235lbs of natural muscle, would provide for and protect her and their children. He has a ugly face though so she isn't interested.

His hormones are going nuts because of being in the vicinity of her. If he would remove her from his life he could easily readjust.

If you are fuckable, they will get pissed if you ignore them. I am just doing the same thing they do to ugly dudes. I get stigmatized for this. Oh but when I do talk to a chick, they quickly realize I am really nice dude.

I could careless if they are vulnerable. I just keep being who I am.

It's simple: women like the attention and men are waiting for a shot with them. Both behaviors are sad. Humans live in an unnatural state right now. We pretend about the true nature of our own being. More than often it's the men who suffer from it. Just as in this case of beta males waiting around, most of our problems would be solved if boys were raised to be men. Fed a bunch of lies, once woken up to reality still hurts.

Women also get a bad deal out of our "new arrangement" of "equality". However, 10 to 1 in the negative impact of men to women. As a full time single parent to two teenage daughters I see it. I have raised them to understand their true nature for the simple reason that it is good to know why we are motivated to do the things we do.

But back to my point about the negative impact on women. My daughters would never admit it but they are driven to be homemakers by nature and career gals by me and society. But let's be honest... this is like saying that you feel sorry for a 19th century slave owner because it's so much work picking a slave to buy. I just know that my daughters would be happier if they always had an alpha telling them what to do.

But yeah, men and women can't be friends.
