I manage around ~25 people on a large college campus and picked up lunch today as a 'thank you' for all the hard work they've done recently.
Pick up the food, which is 6 large bags plus two gallons of sweat tea and lemonade. Decide I'm going to hulk it and carry it all up in one trip and take the elevator.
As the elevator door opens (mind you I'm loaded down with 6 heavy bags and the two gallons) a college aged girl is there and sees me loaded down. Proceeds to push past me as I'm trying to get off, so I then have to back up into the elevator to let her in. Looks at me and the food and starts texting again on her phone. As I try to exit another girl rounds the corner (glued to her phone) and literally bumps into me. Neither said excuse me or had any look of remorse.
These entitled girls are an epidemic on the campus. When I waive a pedestrian across the street, who waves thank you? Always the guys, never the girls.
These are the women society wants me to treat as a princess and die a slave to work to provide for. I can't do it.
