This has been bugging me for a while now, and I can't find a video anywhere online. There used to be a video of it on YouTube, but it must have got removed

It was during a game at Anfield, I think United was attacking the Anfield Road End. There was a pass into Rooney on the right side and he picked it up at the top right of the penalty area running towards the byline. I think he was either offside or he committed a foul.

Reina came out to challenge, and I think the ball kind of got caught in Rooney's feet, but he did this back heel/side foot motion, got the ball under the onrushing Reina and the ball curled on the floor really slowly and crept into the net.

The whistle went right after Rooney made contact with the ball, but it would have been an incredible goal if allowed
