ok, that downtime argument isn't the same for everyone. Depends on the person, some people are working a shit ton throughout college. Furthermore, I carried coffee sometimes because of hte time constraints I was under. I didn't always have time to just sip a coffee at home or in a shop, and I most definitely didn't have the time to 'sleep for 12 hours'. Dude, your analysis sucks ass and is totally the dude bro cliche.

Because we all know college isn’t very serious—in fact, it’s the opposite: a complete fucking joke. Realistically, it’s a glorified daycare program for semi-adults. As long as you stay on top of your shit enough, you can still get wasted 4 days a week (if not more) most weeks and do reasonably well. It’s not a job, it’s not stressful, it’s not something you need to drink coffee for.

Unless you're doing anything medical. I finished a 5 year bachelor of pharmacy last year. It was nerve-wrecking to say the least and I wouldn't have made it without 3-5 cups of coffee a day. It's also fairly addictive.

Went to school for aviation maintenance with no mechanical history or knowledge, not sure of this "down time" is that you speak of, but it sounds really pleasant. I don't drink warm buttjuice, I used radioactive energy drinks to get me through my 10 hour schedule, work, and the eventual 5 hour nightly cram sessions.

But seriously, I guess it all depends on what you're in school for. If you're going for something like Lib Arts, I could imagine it's a cakewalk daycare setting.
